BRIEF A CUSTOM COMMISSION

Want something totally unique just for you?

No problem! Around 50% of the paintings I create are custom commissions. Before you send me your brief please read the below information. 

Here is everything I need to know about your painting:
 

  1. Your desired size - My stock sizes for customs are A3 (420mm x 297mm) or A2 (594mm x 420mm) however I can cater for any size that can be shipped or couriered to its new home.
     

  2. The design and style - Please include all every aspect of the design that springs to mind. Don't worry, I don't need to know every last minute detail, just the general theme of the piece and any specific elements you would like included. If you're stuck just refer to my portfolio to find some inspiration! If you're still not sure you can even send me a one word brief and confirm that you would like me to design the painting. 
     

  3. Colour schemes - if there is a specific colour scheme you would like me to follow please include this in the brief. 
     

  4. Special effects - If there are special effects you would like such as crackle effect paint, glow in the dark, marble effect paint, spray glitter etc then please include this in the breif.
     

  5. Your location / country - So I can calculate the shipping costs for you.

Design and Execution

I paint exclusively from the brief to the best of my ability. I do not typically offer sketches or renders of a design in order to keep the price of my work as reasonable as possible for you. If I come to a point at any stage of the creation process where I think you should be offered a choice to change the brief then I will contact you before continuing to make sure you have the final say. All finished pieces are final. I will send you a photo of the finished product prior to curing and shipping.

Materials

I will primarily use spray paint to create your paintings and all custom commissions are painted onto 350gsm gloss coated card (unless otherwise agreed). All paintings are sealed with a gloss clear coat. I may also use other elements such as glow powders and special effect paints even if these aren't in the brief.

Pricing

Due to the bespoke nature of my work there is no one size fits all price for custom paintings. However I can confirm that pricing starts from £195.00 and the final price depends on the complexity of your painting and how long it will take me to design and execute. In your pricing I will also present options for framing. I highly recommend framing my art for best protection and presentation.

Content Creation

Even if you don't wish to guarantee a feature on one of social media channels as part of your order, I reserve the right to film the process and post it online. If you do not wish for your painting to be shared on my social media platforms you must exclusively inform me of this in writing as part of your brief. I also regularly paint live so keep an eye on my live streams too!
